ASLO Major Achievements

  • ASLO implemented 8 projects for the empowerment of Afghan Women in around seven regions in Afghanistan and including of bamayan province.  
  • ASLO is providing services in education and protection to 12,850 children (boys and girls) across of Afghanistan. Including of bamayan province.  
  • ASLO implemented 5 projects for the Agriculture and livestock in Afghanistan. Including of bamayan province.  
  • ASLO implemented 7 projects for the Wash and Sanitation in around three regions in Afghanistan. Including of bamayan province.   
  • ASLO implemented 5 projects for the Wash and Sanitation in around three regions in Afghanistan.

  • ASLO working with women and girls since 2013 in cultivating legal literacy and access to justice, which motivated hundreds of girls and women to become activists in the rural areas and play role as mediators between communities and local authorities for resolution of women issues .
  • ASLO built capacities of 84 volunteers in different regions of Afghanistan, they are active now to promote volunteerism in youth and women to design community led volunteer programs for rehabilitation and strengthening the civil society in accessing and defending their rights 
  • Introducing of five capable women from North-eastern zone of to the president advisory board.
  • Monitoring on two commitment of National Unity Government in North zone of Afghanistan.
  • Contribute on data collection of CEDWA research report from north zone of Afghanistan.
  • Support AWN on data collection of research reports (Monitoring on implementation on 1325, Afghanistan Peace and Reintegration Process “APRP”) and Women Political participation.
  • Celebrate on different occasion including women’s Day, OBR, and Peace Day by sending advocacy messages at the national and international level.
  • Launching of Child projection Let’s Stop Sexual Harassment campaign to raise awareness people about existing such regulation in North Zone of Afghanistan.
  • Establishing complain committee within Directorate of Women affairs on sexual harassment in five region of Afghanistan.
  •  Establish 120 Emergency committee for natural disaster at the district and provincial level in  22 province of Afghanistan.
  • Raise awareness and take some capacity building measures to make ready the local people how to fight natural disasters.
  •   ASLO established 80 emergency response committees that play a supporter function while people at the district and provincial level face problem provide them technical and practical support. From volunteer aspect ASLO in the last three years provide awareness sanitation and hygiene (WASH) the volunteer team works in over 50 villages in Afghanistan  to improve water and sanitation services, as well as basic hygiene practices.
